In Rwanda, the inflation rate dropped to the lowest level of 3 months.
The common inflation of Rwanda has dropped to 7.2 % for the first time after the five months in July 2025. This rate decreased from 8.3 % in June, the highest level since November 2023. This also indicates the lowest inflation rate since April, and largely due to increased food growth and non -addictive. The price shows the slower increase in four months (6.5 percent compared to 10.7 percent in June), mainly due to the decrease in vegetable prices (4.3 % compared to -2.0 %). Inflation also decreased in housing (2.6 percent compared to 2.3 percent) and clothes and shoes (6.6 % compared to 6.2 %). Meanwhile, inflation has accelerated in a number of types: transportation (5.6 % of restaurants and hotels (15.9 % compared to 17.6 %), communication (17.6 % compared to 17.6 % compared to 17.6 %) and alcoholic beverages, tobacco and medicine (8.8 % compared to 11.0 %).
