Golden Boll Film History Film Festival The Golden Boll Film Festival, named after Pamuktan, the symbol of çukurova, was first held in 1969 under the leadership of the Adana and Adana Cinema Club under the names of the Golden Golden Boll Film Festival. That year, Metin Erksan (Kuyu), Fatma Girik (Ezo Gelin) and Yılmaz Güney (Seyyit Khan) won the first award. The festival was held five times until 1973, but he rested for 18 years due to economic issues.
