It paves the way for the Banking Supervision and Regulation Authority (BRSA) to restructure the debts of individual credit card users. According to the decision made on July 10, creditors can repay debt in installments with a term of up to 48 months. In addition to credit card debt, consumer loans are also included in the restructuring. The final day for debt restructuring is approaching.

Applications for credit cards and loan restructuring are coming to an end. The 3-month deadline for those involved has been completed. Regarding restructuring, CBRT said the maximum interest rate applied is 3.11%. By editing; Those who have restructured their debt in the past, those who have failed to repay part or all of their debt, and those who have paid their debt late can restructure. So when will debt restructuring end?
The 3-month period to restructure credit card debt and consumer loan debt announced by BRSA in July will end on October 10. Debtors can apply to the bank and restructure before the deadline ends.
A maximum interest rate of 3.11 can be applied to credit card restructuring transactions. Loan and credit card debt restructuring will last 48 months. Thanks to the arrangement; Not only the minimum credit card debt but also the inability to pay part or all of the debt during the period is included in the scope of restructuring.
Instead of a delay of more than 30 days on loans, any delay is enough for restructuring. The monthly installment amount due to restructuring is added to the minimum payment amount of the corresponding month. The credit card limit cannot be increased until 50% of the restructured card debt is paid. In case the restructured limit exceeds the credit card limit, the excess amount is not considered over limit.
