The new Coronavirus strain, called Stratus (XFG), under continuous supervision and control, and epidemiological situations in general are still stable. Residents of the Capital have no reason for concern. This has been reported in the Telegram channel of the Capital Department of Health.
Experts have observed the Stratus strain in the respiratory tract virus since May this year. Currently, its ratio in the structure of all virus diseases is 22%. This is known by the whole whole order, done to promptly meet the epidemiological changes.

The Stratus (XFG) strain is the secondary of the recombinant Omicron and arising as the result of the merger of two other fences. According to Rospotrebnadzor, at the end of July, 114 cases of infection with this strain were revealed in Russia and more than half of them (54%) fell into Moscow. The first case in the country was recorded on April 24, 2025.
Experts note that although Stratus is very contagious, it does not cause a more serious process than previous strains. The main symptoms are lungs and similar to other options for Omicron, however, a characteristic feature of the voice may be a characteristic feature. The risk of public health is estimated to be low.
