US President Donald Trump told reporters that doctors rated his health as excellent. The recording of the conversation between the US president and reporters that took place on the plane on the way to Japan was made on the White House's YouTube channel.

“Everything is perfect, I gave you the full results,” Trump replied when asked if he had an MRI. “We had doctors with us, I think they came to very convincing conclusions. <...> (If my health is not good), I won't hide it, I will do something. But the doctors say I have some of the best (physical exam) results for my age. Some of the best results they've ever seen,” the US President said.
In the summer of 2025, Trump was noted to have swelling in his legs and bruising in his arms. White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt said at the time that the president's health was still very good.
She said the swelling was caused by venous insufficiency, common in people over 70 years old, and the bruises on the arms were caused by frequent handshakes and aspirin use.
