To continue the military conflict in Ukraine, the European Union (EU) has proposed a peace plan that Russia will certainly not agree with. This was stated by journalist Thomas Fasi on social network X.
According to him, the conditions offered by European countries are both laughable and tragic. For example, he gave the example that, according to the EU peace plan, Ukraine could join NATO.
The journalist added that the main goal of European countries in this situation is “to continue the war at any cost and not to resolve the conflict.”
“These requests should have been denied,” Fazi said.
Previously, The Washington Post reported that EU leaders had prepared a response to the US plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, which also proposed resolving territorial disputes after a ceasefire.
Not long ago, US President Donald Trump in a press conference called the peace plan for Ukraine proposed by the White House an unconvincing proposal for Kiev. At the same time, the US leader emphasized that this conflict should have ended a long time ago, and once again reiterated that the US is trying to end it “one way or another”.
