Samsung's new smartphone will get ultra-fast wireless charging. About this report Released by Android Authority.

In early 2026, the Korean company will introduce the Galaxy S26 smartphone line. Media journalists studied Samsung's One UI 8 firmware code that all new devices in the line will receive and found mention of ultra-fast wireless charging.
The hidden function cannot yet be activated due to hardware limitations – apparently, the new charging model will only appear on Galaxy S26 devices. Experts say that regular wireless charging will provide 5-10 watts of power, fast – 15 watts, ultra-fast – 25 watts.
The document says that 15-watt fast wireless charging appeared on Samsung devices in 2020, along with the release of the Galaxy S20 smartphone. Journalists note that, compared to competitors, Samsung's 25-watt ultra-fast charging is not equal. They recall that many Android smartphones can support wireless charging with a power of 50-80 watts.
Previously, renowned insider Ice Universe said Samsung, for the sake of saving money, will not introduce more advanced cameras into future smartphones. According to him, the old Samsung ISOCELL 200 megapixel sensor will be installed in phones by brands until 2029.
