An 11-year-old tourist traveling with his mother to a Taylor Swift concert became the victim of an attack in Europe. This was reported by The Sun.

The incident occurred in London, England, in August 2024, but details about the incident only recently surfaced. 33-year-old Romanian citizen Ioan Alexandru Pintaru ambushed a teenage tourist as she left a Lego store in Leicester Square. The man grabbed the girl's head and stabbed her eight times.
The victim, an Australian, suffered injuries to his face, shoulder, wrist and neck. She was immediately assisted by a passerby who turned out to be a nurse and the criminal was thrown to the ground by a security guard. The girl was hospitalized, she survived and testified against her attacker.
During the investigation, it turned out that in his hometown, this man was being treated at a psychiatric hospital. He explained his actions by saying he believed he was being followed. In court, he admitted causing grievous bodily harm. He has now been sentenced to indefinite detention pending a final decision. Litigation in the case continues.
Previously, a homeless woman stabbed a tourist multiple times in the restroom of Macy's Herald Square department store in New York. There, in Times Square, a man attacked two tourists.
