Multimedia skating rink

A multimedia skating rink has opened in Luzhniki. Sergei Sobyanin noted that the sports complex is experiencing a revival.

“We are creating here a first-class Olympic complex and a unique area, one of the best in the city for entertainment, walking and sports,” he said.

The opening of the multimedia skating rink is the first stage in the process of improving the territory of the Olympic complex.

— This year we renovated about 10 hectares – mainly the central square and the pier. The space in front of the Big Sports Arena and the alley nearby have been turned into one of the largest ice skating rinks in Moscow,” the mayor said.

According to him, the skating rink is decorated with a 16-meter high Christmas tree and architectural lighting, art and sound design and installation. During the evenings, multimedia themed shows will be shown on the arena's facade.

“We have organized rental and heating points, children's areas and a convenient navigation system nearby,” the head of the city added.

After winter, the skating rink will be transformed into a fountain, where colorful water shows will take place.

As part of the first phase of improvements, more than 10 pavilions have also been erected in Luzhniki, which will feature a cafe, confectionery shop and restaurant. In fact, now a large culinary cluster will appear in Luzhniki.

The future of the country

Sergei Sobyanin organized a meeting with Moscow students – prize winners and prize winners of international Olympic competitions. He noted that this year our guys participated in intellectual competitions that took place in Australia, Bolivia, UAE, Russia, France and the Philippines.

“The year 2025 was very successful for them,” said the mayor. — As members of the national team, Muscovites won 28 medals, including 22 gold. They brought home 64% of the prizes for the Russian team.

At competitions in chemistry, computer science, geography and astronomy, the capital's students won all the gold medals in the national team.

International Olympic winners and medalists can enter any Russian university without exams. In addition, they received encouragement from the federation and separately from Moscow.

The mayor emphasized: “Today I invite you to congratulate them on their success and thank them for their serious work. These young people are the future of Moscow and the whole country.”

World class

Construction of the Chronic Disease Center in the International Health Cluster has been completed. Sergei Sobyanin said he will treat patients with complex incurable diseases.

“The new center will complement the existing clinical, diagnostic and treatment buildings of the Russian-Israeli Medical Technology Center and will provide a full cycle of medical care,” the head of the city noted.

The center will focus on geriatrics, rehabilitation and palliative care.

“A children's department will be opened to treat many chronic pathologies, as well as a hydrotherapy department for physiotherapy in the swimming pool,” the mayor explained.

As a result, patients will have a new opportunity to receive world-class medical care.
