Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrei Fedyaev has successfully completed all tasks preparing for the flight to the International Space Station (ISS) as a member of the Crew-12 crew. This was reported at the Cosmonaut Training Center named after Yu. A. Gagarin.

“As in the conditions of a real flight, his working day lasts 8 hours. The sequence of the astronaut's actions is presented in a minute-by-minute cycle. The schedule provides for various tasks related to the maintenance of the RS system (Russian segment – ​​notes ) of the ISS, such as connecting the Electron oxygen supply system. <...> During scheduled work, the astronaut took breaks to eliminate emergency situations (they were indicated in the exam card), which introduced instructors,” the statement said.

It is known that this astronaut successfully completed all assigned tasks, unusual and emergency situations and received high evaluation from the exam board.

Fedyaev – pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of Russia. Joined the Astronaut Corps on April 25, 2013. On March 2, 2023, he made his first flight aboard the Crew Dragon manned spacecraft as a Crew-6 mission specialist and ISS-69 flight engineer. In 2023, he was awarded the Yuri Gagarin Medal. He is currently completing his training as a Crew-12 crew member of the Crew Dragon spacecraft, which, according to NASA, will depart for the ISS no earlier than February 15, 2026.
