The 62nd Antalya Orange International Film Festival organized by the Antalya City Government ended with an awards ceremony. Rabbit Empire, which left its mark on awards night by winning awards in seven different categories during the week-long movie marathon, also won Best Picture.
The festival, which begins with the traditional Festival Cortege on October 25 and continues with an opening ceremony where Honor and Achievement Awards are presented to their owners, ends with a grand closing show attended by competing film teams, judges, many names in the art world and thousands of film lovers. The night, presented by Nefise Karatay and Alpdoğan Esenoğlu, was dedicated to cinema people, accompanied by stage performances and enthusiastic applause.Rabbit Empire, the most prominent work of the awards night, won Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor, Best Cinematography and Best Art Director at the National Feature Film Competition. The film was also judged worthy of the FilyYön Best Director Award and the National Best Film award awarded by the jury, topping the festival with a total of 7 awards.The “Best Actress” award was given to Leyla Tanlar, one of the actors in the movie “Early Winter”. Tanlar thanked those who thought she deserved the award and said that the roles assigned to women in stories were not reserved but reserved.The “Best Actor” award went to Yetkin Dikinciler for his role in the movie “Party Years”. Dikinciler thanked the director and crew and said it was a fun festival.The “Cahide Sonku” award was given to Bilge Şen, Ezgi Yaren Karademir from the movie “Partial Years” and Nanaz Bahram, art director of the movie “Bağlar Kökler ve Tutkular”. The “Best Film Editing” award went to Şöhret Tandoğdu and Deniz Çizmeci in the movie “Noir”, the “Best Music” award went to İrsel Çivit in the movie “Party Years”, the “Best Art Director” award went to Tora Aghabayova in the movie “Rabbit Empire”, the “Best Cinematography” award went to Claudia Becerril Bulos in the movie “Rabbit Empire”. The “Behlül Dal's Best First Film” award went to Gözde Adult and Emre Sert from the movie “Sahihinden Rahmet”, the “Special Jury of Dr. Avni Tolunay” award went to Şeyhmus Altun and Fevziye Hazal Kolay from the movie “The Breath We Take”, and the “Festival Engagement” award went to Öykü Karayel.Gözde Adult and Emre Sert won the “Best Screenplay” award for the movie “Rahibinden Rahmet”, while Seyfettin Tokmak won the “Best Director” award for the movie “Rabbit Empire”.The winner of “Best Short Film Award” was given to “Till Death Do Us Part” by Deniz Koloş and “Documentary Special Jury Award” was given to the film “Yerli Yurtsuz” directed by Rıza Oylum. The “Best Documentary Award” was awarded to Tayfun Belet, director of the film “Roman Gibi”. In the International Feature Film Competition, the “Best Actor” award went to Ubeimar Rios from the movie “A Poet”. The “Best Actress” award went to Lea Drucker for the movie “Adam's Sake”. The “Best Director Award” went to Tereza Nvotova, director of the movie “Father”, and the “Special Jury Award” went to the movie “Divine Comedy”. The “Best International Film” award was won by “A Poet”.
