Reha Muhtar, who argued with staff at Istanbul airport on the grounds of missing her flight, was banned from flying and blacklisted by Turkish Airlines (THY).
THY Communications Director Yahya Üstün announced that Reha Muhtar has been blacklisted.
In the video circulating on social networks, Reha Muhtar was seen wanting to go through the X-ray machine while holding her phone in her hand and there was a short argument before the police warning. In the video, Mukhtar asks, “Did you learn oppression from your mother or your father?” He was heard using the expression.
IT WAS ADDED TO THE BLACKLIST AFTER THE PHOTOS While the unexpected images left their mark on social networks, Turkish Airlines Communications Director Yahya Üstün made a statement on his social media account. Announcing that Reha Muhtar has been added to the blacklist, Üstün said: Airport security rules apply to everyone's safety and no exceptions are made. Reha Muhtar, who tried to violate these rules before the flight and behaved inappropriately with staff, is now blacklisted from Turkish Airlines flights. Flight safety and respect for everyone are always our top priorities.
