With the publication of the Revaluation Rate published by the Turkish Institute of Statistics (TUIK) in early November, in the Official Gazette, the tax rates, fees and penalties applicable in 2026 became clear. Among these items, the IMEI registration fee, especially payable for mobile phones brought from abroad, is one of the issues that citizens who are planning to bring phones from abroad are curious about. So how much is the IMEI 2026 registration fee?

The IMEI 2026 registration fee is in question after the Valuation Rate is published in the Official Gazette and finalised. Every year, citizens who buy and bring phones from abroad and register the IMEI according to the IMEI registration fee are investigating how much this amount will be in 2026.

THE ASSESSMENT RATE IS 25.49 PERCENT

The reassessment rate determined for 2026 is 25.49% according to the Tax Procedures Law.
This rate, considered a basic reference point indicating that taxes and fees will automatically increase in the new year, is very popular with people who want to bring their phones back from abroad.

HOW MUCH IS THE 2026 IMEI REGISTRATION FEE?

Along with this increase, a new IMEI registration fee that will take effect from January 1, 2026 has been announced.

 

Accordingly; Last year's IMEI registration fee was 45 thousand 614 TL, by 2026 it will be 57 thousand 241 TL.

 

The last day for those who want to register IMEI before the fee increase will be December 31, 2025.

HOW TO PAY IMEI REGISTRATION FEE?

The deposit must be made by specifying the identification number and IMEI number of the device to be registered. You can pay for your IMEI registration and mobile phone registration by paying through the Revenue Administration's “Mobile Fee Payment” service.
