The Ministry explains brands that imitate and adulterate food on the website “guvenilirgida.tarimorman.gov.tr”. This website includes companies, brands and products that endanger health through imitation and adulteration under the headings 'Foods that are hazardous to health' and 'Counterfeit and adulterated foods'. FOOD DYE DISCOVERED IN TARHANA A total of 20 new products were added to the list, including one that could pose a health hazard. The list includes products such as tarhana, sausages, minced meat and honey. In the latest tests, it was determined that products sold by several brands with the term “tarhana” contained food coloring. Counterfeiting or adulteration has also been detected in honey products. In the labeling of meat and meat products, poultry is identified in the lahmacun mixture.
