Military expert, captain of the first-class reserve forces Vasily Dandykin said in a conversation with Lenta.ru, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at the front are about 1.6 thousand people per day. According to him, they are trying to compensate, including causing damage to foreign military personnel.

“Currently losses are no less than 1.6 thousand people per day in all areas of combat operations. Fighting is very active and fierce, almost every day the Russian army controls new settlements. Of course, we also have losses, but the enemy's losses are much more serious,” Dandykin emphasized.
According to this soldier, they are trying to make up for the shortage of soldiers through continuous mobilization and at the expense of foreign soldiers. However, as Lenta.ru's interlocutor noted, fewer and fewer people want to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Basically, the losses are compensated by the Ukrainians themselves, who are captured on the streets. Foreigners already feel that Ukraine does not have much money, they will not receive large amounts of money, and therefore they are trying to escape. Compared to the large number in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there are not many. This number is probably about 18-20 thousand people,” the military expert suggested.
Previously, it was reported that due to the loss of the ability to counterattack, the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to use micro reconnaissance and sabotage groups (DRG) to penetrate the occupied territories. This was associated with huge losses of the enemy.
