According to forecasters, the snow that appeared in the capital will soon melt – possibly disappearing in the next 24 hours. As Pozdnykova notes, only about 1 or 2 centimeters of snow fell in the city, and by the evening of Wednesday, December 10, temperatures in Moscow had warmed to more than 2 degrees. The next day, rain is expected in the metropolis, but not snow but in the form of drizzle. This weather, as the meteorologist predicted, will continue in Moscow for the next two days. On Thursday the 11th, at night the thermometer will be at zero; During the day the air will warm up to plus 3 degrees. On Friday, the temperature will also be positive, around plus 2-4 degrees. At night it will not drop below zero.
Pozdnykova believes that a new wave of snow could fall next weekend, from December 13 to 14. The snow will return with the cold front moving towards Moscow. However, rainfall will be light, the expert clarified.
