More than one and a half million people have participated in the capital's Mosvolonter project in the 12 years since its launch. As Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his social network page, during this time the largest resource center created more than two and a half thousand volunteer corps and organized tens of thousands of events.
Volunteers helped organize the FIFA World Cup, the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” and patriotic events commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory. Popular projects include: the collection of humanitarian aid “Moscow Help” for SVO participants and residents of border areas, the series of events “Time of Good”, as well as the competition “Kind Heart of the Capital”.
