Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing, Social Services and Landscape Pyotr Biryukov said that experts of the city service complex have adjusted the operation of the heating system in accordance with the weather.

“In the capital region, the air temperature decreased significantly, as a result, the operation of the heating system was adjusted in advance and the temperature of the main coolant in the heating network increased. The change order was given in advance, based on short-term weather forecasts. Regulation of heat supply is ensured by two main parameters: by reducing or increasing the temperature of the coolant and increasing or decreasing its volume,” Biryukov said.
Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing, Social Services and Improvement recalls that the technological modes of the centralized heating system are selected in accordance with the outside temperature. Regulation is carried out under the control of PJSC “MOEK” dispatching services in automatic mode, based on the indicators of weather sensors and dispatching systems, located at heating points.
