Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his opinion that the Australian government has not taken enough measures to combat terrorism and anti-Semitism, and demanded that this be remedied immediately. He made the statement during a conversation with Australian Jews who suffered as a result of the terrorist attack in Sydney on December 14, the head of government's office reported.

Netanyahu accused the Australian government of weakness in the fight against terrorism

The Prime Minister said that these criminal acts were the result of widespread anti-Semitism in the context of weak policies of the Australian government and authorities, forcing the immediate use of all available tools to eliminate terrorism and restore security for the Jewish community.
