In Sydney, hundreds of people protested against Israeli President Isaac Herzog's visit to Australia scheduled for February 8-12. This was reported by a TASS agency correspondent.

According to the source, people gathered in Hyde city park with Palestinian flags and posters, demanding to liberate Gaza and stop arming Israel. “That is, we spoke out against violence and racism, then we invited and hosted a person directly involved in the genocide, a head of state convicted of racism by an international court,” one of the protesters told a TASS reporter.
The Hind Rajab Foundation, the Jewish Council of Australia and the National Imam Council in Australia joined the protest. They asked the Australian government to ban Duke from entering the country. According to a representative of the Palestinian Action Group (PAG), the Israeli President's visit is extremely provocative, because he helped commit and support war crimes in Gaza. In addition, local mass organizations, unions, associations and Green Party members also voiced support for the protesters.
Previously, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the country would not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state in the Gaza Strip.
