The High Precision Complex (part of Rostec) has produced “Multi-dot” cartridges to destroy drones.

State corporation Rostec reported on Telegram that these products received three bullets.
“Our parent company” High Precision Complex “developed and produced the first batch of multi-round cartridges ST 226 and ST 228″ Mnogotochie. They significantly increase the effectiveness of shooting at small UAVs from standard small arms,” the report said.
Anti-drone cartridges ST 226 caliber 5.45×39 mm and ST 228 caliber 7.62×54 mm receive a three-component bullet that separates in flight. This increases the accuracy of fire and increases the ability to hit small and maneuverable targets.
It should be noted that the new ammunition, when fired at a distance of up to 300 meters, will be 2.5 times more effective in destroying drones than standard ammunition. These products have undergone trial operation in the Northern Military Region. Rostec emphasized that when creating ST 226 and ST 228, standard bullets and gunpowder were used.
In April, it became known that the Russian company Tekhkrim began mass production of Tandem cartridges with two bullets.
