Sydney, October 6./ Tass /. There is no information about citizens of the Russian Federation suffered during the shooting in Australia. This was reported to Tass at the Russian Consulate General in Sydney.

“Currently, we do not have information that among the victims of the chaotic shooting in the outskirts of Sydney Kreudon Park are citizens of the Russian Federation. We have requested relevant information from local competent agencies,” the Consulate General said.

Earlier, New South Wales's Australian police announced the arrest of a man who opened a random shooting in the people on the road -riders in Sydney. The Ministry noted that the incident occurred Monday night in the outskirts of Kreudon Park 20 km northwest of the Megapolis center. A 60 -year -old man exploded a random fire from a large barrel rifle from his apartment window located on the second floor of the building, and before being detained, he made about 100 shots. As a result, a 50 -year -old man was injured, 16 others were scratched from broken glass and fragments.

As shown in the police station, “the incident has no connection with terrorism.” In the fact of the incident, an investigation will be conducted.
