Scammers have started using new methods to steal data from Apple device owners. About this attention Fox News Channel.

A new method to steal Apple data and accounts has been discovered by Broadcom expert Eric Moret. As a result of the attack, unknown people were able to access the victim's account, block all his devices and steal confidential data.
Moret noted that the indirect attack occurred with the help of Apple. Experts say there is a vulnerability that allows you to report problems with the Apple ecosystem or its gadgets using the user's personal data without his knowledge – phone number or email address. Attackers can create a request on behalf of the user, after which the attacker will receive a notification from Apple that the company has registered its complaint.
Next, scammers can call the user, pretend to be an Apple support employee, and force him to provide a code from SMS or direct him to a phishing website. If a user shares the security code, they could lose their account and all data.
Eric Moret advises interrupting conversations with strangers who introduce themselves as Apple employees. According to him, in such cases, it is best to change your Apple account password and call the support hotline yourself.
In early November, Google conducted a study and found that Android users are better protected from fraud than iOS.
