For the first time in history, the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has allowed astronauts to bring iPhones into space to film and record flights. NASA head Jared Isaacman announced this on his social network page. X.

“We will equip our team to capture special moments and share inspiring images and videos with the world,” Isaacman wrote.
It should be noted that for now we are only talking about iPhones, but in the future they may be allowed to use other smartphones in orbit.
Previously, NASA announced that the Crew-12 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) with Roscosmos state corporation astronaut Andrei Fedyaev will be launched no earlier than February 11 at 14:00 Moscow time.
