Astrophysicist Avi Loeb has suggested that quasi-satellite 2025 PN7 could be debris from a Soviet-made probe. Loeb's article was published on Medium.

As Loeb discovered in a joint study with one of his colleagues, this assumption is supported by the orbit of the satellite, which is close to the orbit of one of the stages of the launch vehicle that launched the Zond-1 device into space.
According to Loeb, to confirm this hypothesis, it is necessary to conduct spectral analysis of the satellite. 2025 PN7 was discovered more than 30 years ago and was initially mistaken for an alien reconnaissance ship, which has since been refuted.
The “alien ship” took on an unbelievable color and began moving on its way to Earth. Why would an astrophysicist consider it an alien device?
Previously, IKI RAS named two versions about the origin of the outbreak over Moscow. Experts have admitted that the cause may be that China's DRO-B spacecraft was unsuccessfully launched into lunar orbit in 2024 and ended up in an uncertain orbit. The second version is an asteroid crash.
Previously, the Czech Republic announced that it would provide Ukraine with a space satellite within a year.
