Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Bakanov, in an interview with , announced a meeting with the newly appointed head of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Jared Isaacman.

According to him, the meeting is scheduled for the summer.
“Our manned space flight has been exempted from sanctions. And that's for obvious reasons. This is a pragmatic approach. When we can serve each other, we operate a huge infrastructure called the International Space Station. And without Russia, its exploitation is now impossible,” Bakanov commented.
He clarified that the details of the upcoming meeting are currently being agreed. It is expected that during the personal meeting, the heads of the organizations will discuss further cooperation prospects.
Previously, Bakanov said Roscosmos planned to hold additional negotiations with NASA within a year about the completion of the International Space Station (ISS) and its removal from orbit.
