SpaceX broke its own record with its 133rd Falcon 9 launch in 2025. The launch took place on Wednesday from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The rocket launched 28 Starlink satellites into orbit.

Eight minutes after launch, the rocket's first stage successfully landed on the Of Course I Still Love You automated launch pad in the Pacific Ocean. This booster has been used 21 times, including the SDA-0A, SARah-2, Transporter-11 missions and 18 Starlink launches. After inspection, it will be prepared for the return flight.
By the end of the year, SpaceX plans to conduct several more launches—six in October alone. In total, there are about 8,000 Starlink satellites in orbit.
