DxOMark lab experts conducted comprehensive testing of two new Honor smartphones (Honor 400 Smart 5G and Honor X7d), paying special attention to battery life and power system performance. As a result of testing, both new products showed record results, helping them take the top spot in the DxOMark rating.

Honor 400 Smart 5G and Honor X7d are almost identical devices in terms of characteristics. The exception is the use of different chipsets: Honor 400 Smart 5G is based on Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, while Honor X7d is equipped with Snapdragon 685.
Both models are equipped with a very capacious 6500 mAh battery, which, although not an absolute record in terms of capacity, combined with a low power consumption platform and a screen with HD+ resolution, turns these devices into real autonomy “monsters”.
According to test results, Honor X7d showed outstanding results, operating for 4 days and 13 hours. Its sibling, Honor 400, also showed an impressive usage time of 4 days and 3 hours. These numbers not only set a new record in the category, but also significantly exceeded previous leaders, who couldn't come close to the 4-day mark of active work.
Recharging both devices takes about the same time – about an hour and a half to 100%. However, the Honor 400 exhibits up to 80% faster charging.
In the overall ranking according to autonomy assessment from DxOMark, both new products scored 168 points, setting a new record for ratings. In particular, Honor X7d currently holds the absolute top position in terms of battery life.
