The Institute of Applied Geophysics (IPG) told that a weak magnetic storm was recorded on Earth on Friday evening.

As noted in the IPG, the level of disturbance in the Earth's magnetic field (power) has reached G1 on a scale of five indicators, where G5 is “extremely strong” and G1 is “weak.” The storm occurred between 00:00 and 03:00 Moscow time.
On January 22, experts from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences and ISTP SB RAS warned of new flares and magnetic storms in the near future.
