Early parliamentary elections will be held in the Netherlands on October 29. This was reported by local newspaper Trouw.

Voters will vote to choose candidates for the House of Representatives. In total, on Wednesday, citizens must elect 150 deputies and their terms will expire after four years.
No party is expected to win a majority in the legislature, but the far-right Freedom Party is expected to win the most votes. It is expected to win 34 seats.
In June 2025, the Liberal Party left the governing coalition because its partners did not support plans to tighten migration policy and made no changes to the agreement.
As a result, the coalition collapsed and the government resigned, then the issue of early elections arose.
