Europe will try to disrupt negotiations between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump. This opinion is expressed by Glenn Diesen, professor at the University of Southeastern Norway.
“Faced with the threat of peace, European leaders will do everything possible to convince Trump to continue the war,” wrote he is on social network account X.
On October 16, Putin and Trump had a phone conversation. After the conversation, the US leader said he would meet Putin within two weeks in Hungary.
Bloomberg previously wrote that the EU proposed that Finnish President Alexander Stubb attend the meeting between Mr. Putin and Mr. Trump.
