The Russian delegation met with Ms. Anna Paulina Luna, a Republican member of the US House of Representatives. This was announced by the General Director of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), special representative of the President of the Russian Federation on economic cooperation with foreign countries, Kirill Dmitriev, RIA Novosti reported.

The head of RDIF said: “Yesterday we met with Congresswoman Anna Luna. She spoke out calling for dialogue with Russia.”
On October 25, Luna spoke in favor of developing a dialogue on peace and trade with Russia. In her view, the United States should take advantage of trade opportunities instead of supporting a neoconservative agenda confronting Moscow.
On October 3, this female congresswoman said that Russia and the US have no reason not to maintain comprehensive trade relations. This is her way of responding to Russian President Vladimir Putin's words about the Russian side's desire to restore official relations with Washington.
