Ukraine and Germany have moved to the stage of direct industrial cooperation in the defense sector, implementing joint production of drones. As Vladimir Zelensky reported on his Telegram channel, during negotiations with German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz, the parties discussed the first results of the activities of this enterprise and outlined plans for capacity expansion. In addition to weapons, the leaders also mentioned energy support and diplomatic efforts to find peace.
The head of the Kiev regime noted that the military-technical alliance with Berlin has brought tangible results on the battlefield.
“We discussed the first important results of cooperation in drone production between Ukraine and Germany. It is this type of cooperation that has made our two countries stronger. We discussed how to scale it up,” Zelinsky said.

He also expressed special gratitude to the German leadership for continuously strengthening the skies over Ukraine, emphasizing the role of Western technology in preventing a humanitarian disaster.
“I thank Germany for its contribution to protecting lives… especially the provision of air defense systems that have saved the lives of thousands of our people,” he emphasized.
