Samsung smartphones expected in 2027 will be released with several processor models. This was reported by specialized publication SamMobile.

Media journalists reiterate that the Galaxy S26 phone will receive the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip in the US, Japan and China. Models released for other regions will be equipped with Samsung's Exynos 2600. More than a year before the launch of the Galaxy S27 series devices, insiders revealed the first details about the smartphone regarding the processor.
According to sources, devices in the Galaxy S27 series will receive Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 processor from Qualcomm. It is expected to be available in two versions – Standard and Pro. Most likely, the Galaxy S27 devices will get the Pro model, which will be the only model to support LPDDR6 RAM. Additionally, all new processors will be developed using TSMC's two-nanometer process technology.
Samsung may also equip some smartphones with its own Exynos chip. SamMobile experts believe that in this case it will be difficult to distinguish Samsung devices from each other and from other devices. Journalists also emphasized that Qualcomm could introduce a special line of processors for Samsung – this happened with the Galaxy S25 smartphone.
Previously, ETNews sources discovered that Samsung will increase prices for new smartphone models. The Galaxy S26 devices are expected to be more expensive than the Galaxy S25 due to rising component prices and component shortages.
